Finding Who has The Cheapest Auto Insurance
Recently, I’ve been on a quest to find the cheapest auto insurance that money can buy. This quest has proved fruitless so far and I’m nearing my wits end. Every company I call up gives me a ridiculous and exorbitant quote and some laughed at me when I told them I’d find cheaper elsewhere. One fellow even said “Good luck with that pal” in the most sarcastic tone he could muster before putting the phone down on me.
Am I being naïve here? Does cheap auto insurance even exist anymore? I’ve trawled through my phone book trying to find out who has the cheapest auto insurance out there and getting zero results. Though technically speaking, I have found out who has the cheapest auto insurance out of the companies I’ve spoken to but still, their quote was not cheap. Just the cheapest of the dire bunch.
My phone book has been scrawled over with my written notes and underlinings and all the insurance pages are tattered, torn and dog-eared. Somehow I don’t think I’m going to have any luck with this quest if I’m using archaic things like a phonebook to get a cheap deal.
So I retired the phone book but kept the phone active. I’ve been calling everyone I know trying to find out who has the cheapest auto insurance and how I can get in on it too. Almost everyone I spoke to so far, that has managed to get a good deal, has told me that they got it through price comparison sites online. There was no calling company after company.
They simply put their details into the price comparison site and let the website do all the work for them. Within seconds they had all the companies that offered insurance and had them listed in price order, from lowest to highest. They told me that it’s incredibly easy to see exactly which companies offer what, and what they charge for it.
I think my next avenue in seeking cheap car insurance will be by using these price comparison sites and looking for some no deposit car insurance quotes, since finding cheap full coverage auto insurance is impossible.Lord knows that I’m not having any luck elsewhere.
